My name is Heidi. I'm a surfer, stand up paddle racer, ocean swimmer and beach runner. Essential oils have clearly been a game changer in both my daily health and training. 

From the foundation of all health, the gut, to the health of your skin, essential oils have been beneficial in supporting energy production at a cellular level, as well as supporting fast healing from injury, and contributing to sustained performance in daily life and athletic competition. 

My first introduction to essential oils was several years ago when my youngest daughter was battling a staph infection that antibiotics were not effectively treating. Every 4-6 weeks for a year and a half I would take her to the emergency room to get her painful boils treated and get prescribed antibiotics. Enough was enough and out of desperation I gave essential oils a chance. They worked and she has not been back to the doctor since. 

It's exciting for me to see the miracles that essential oils are working in the lives of those that I teach and work with, not just with athletic performance but also with acute health challenges that western treatments aren't seeming to help with.

Hi there! My name is Nate and I'm an ultra-distance runner, surfer and stand up paddler. I consider myself an essential oils guinea pig when it comes to endurance sports, and I love it. 

Marathon distance (26.2) are training runs, and my longer races range between 30 miles to 100 miles with tens of thousands of feet of elevation change, endless challenge and adventure. 

This year I repeatedly placed in the top 10 finishers, a new goal I had set at the beginning of the year, and also completed the HURT 100 Mile trail race. 

When I run my body to "empty" it's very easy to tell what effect an oil has on my athletic performance. I have a short list of personal favorites that include ginger, peppermint, motivate blend, respiratory blend, grounding blend, and arborvitae. 

I always bring extra oils with me on a long race because I know someone's going to be suffering and they are going to bring the back to life. 

I don't claim to know everything, but with lots of experimenting and thousands of miles under my belt, I'm glad to share what continues to work for me.
